The collision happened around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9.Evidence at the scene indicated that a Mitsubishi Eclipse was traveling westbound on Shively when the driver lost control of the vehicle.The vehicle left the roadway, hit a mailbox, and then struck two pine trees.An 18-year-old man from Nappanee who was riding in the car was ejected and suffered a serious head injury. He was last listed in critical condition.The driver had just minor injuries.The Fatal Crash Team was called to handle the investigation.last_img read more
